NEXA

Connect your AI assistant

Link NEXA to an AI assistant like ChatGPT or Claude. Once connected, your assistant can see your tasks and add or complete them, and check your upcoming events and unpaid bills — always as you, with your account's own permissions.

Step 1 — Copy your NEXA server address

Your assistant needs this address to reach NEXA. Copy it, then paste it where your assistant asks for an MCP server or connector URL.

Step 2 — Connect your assistant

Pick the assistant you use. You'll sign in with your NEXA account once during setup, so the assistant only ever sees your own data.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's settings and turn on Developer mode under Apps. If it's unavailable, a ChatGPT admin needs to enable it first.
  2. Open the New plugin dialog in ChatGPT.
  3. Enter NEXA as the name and paste your NEXA server address as the URL.
  4. Review the details, tick I understand and want to continue, then click Create.
  5. Enable NEXA from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use it.

Claude

  1. Open the Add custom connector dialog in Claude — the name and your server address are filled in for you.
  2. Review the details and click Add.
  3. If the form didn't open, go to Claude's Connectors page, choose Add custom connector, then name it NEXA and paste your server address.
  4. Enable NEXA from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use it.

Claude Code

Run this one-line command in your terminal, then start Claude Code and type /mcp to confirm NEXA is connected.

Claude Code asks you to sign in with your NEXA account from that menu, because NEXA protects its tools.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open your assistant's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Create a new remote MCP server connection.
  3. Name it NEXA and paste your server address.
  4. Finish any sign-in or authorisation prompts with your NEXA account.
  5. Enable the connection, then ask your assistant to use NEXA.

Keep your assistant up to date

When NEXA gains new abilities, your assistant may keep using the older list until you refresh its connection.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select NEXA.
  2. Scroll to Information and click Refresh.
  3. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use NEXA.

Claude

  1. Open Claude's Connectors page and select NEXA.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools, then ask Claude to use NEXA.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it picks up the latest abilities automatically.
  2. Ask Claude Code to use NEXA.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open your assistant's MCP server or connector settings and select NEXA.
  2. Refresh the tool list or reconnect the server, then start a new chat.
